Most of these condominium associations are scammers and have weight too much over the community and there is no law controlling them... sos

We won't be safe until we change the state Laws 718 and 720 because these laws are stacked up against homeowners.

Crooked HOA board members all over Florida in 'partnership' with corrupt members of the judicial system are routinely stealing from homeowners, even stealing our homes. We need to change that, the HOA laws must change and now!

I see a lot the lack of order in Hoa....and budgets are not well administrated.Board members should be payed so they compromise with prompt response to owners bc the excuse is always the same....we work for free and have no time and the associations do their own bussinesss that is good for them and not for propietaries

There is very little oversight for HOA's and they are given too much authority over the neighborhood.

Maintenance fees on condos keep increasing for home owners, it's ridiculous!

I would like to see changes in the laws of Homeowner Associations..

As a member of an HOA’s BOD I completely agree that laws regarding HOAs need to change to protect the homeowners and prevent fraud, misappropriation of funds, selective enforcement, etc.

Les explico uno te tantos casos pero los cito este ocurrido el 8 de diciembre del 2022 más reciente, en la elección de una nueva junta donde se cometieron injustas elecciones, ya que por medio de sus celulares realizaron votos de personas ausentes a la reunión, la mayoría de los que estábamos allí no estaban de acuerdo, ya que también quería aumentar la mensualidad, ya que estamos también pagando cuotas extras mensuales adicionan al condominio mensual establecido, en vista que no haciendo caso se llamo a la policía, igualmente hicieron caso omiso, la policía nos recomendó que luego podríamos revocar esa elección fraudulenta por no ser transparente en su proceso , pero esta y otras juntas anteriores por muchos años han actuando de manera constante bajo esas mismas directrices nada confiables. En enero 2023 nos subieron la mensualidad estamos pagando de la siguiente manera: $439,21 de 2 han. Y $369 de 1 han.. parte de esto tenemos esto establecido cuitas adiciones mensuales tambien: 4 cuotas pagaderas del 09-30-2022 al 12-30-2022 ya pagadas. Desde el 01-40-2023 tambien otras cuotas extras que serían 8 consecutivas mensuales desde: 01-30-2023 al 08-30-2023 de: $200 2 han. Y $163,75 1 han. Como verán es mucho para pagar mensual, para personas adultos mayores que dependen nadas más de su Seguro o sea de una pensión y no ti

I would like to see that HOA's, POA's and COA's (all organized community associations) across the country be held accountable for the illegal treatment in unfair practices that a lot of them are guilty of committing. I know Ohio has very limited explanations and virtually no government entity to reach out to.
