The service provided by modality is beyond shocking. Everything from telephony system to appointments to referrals and GP availability falls far below the standard expected. My elderly godmother was told upon release from hospital to get a GO appointment asap....it's been 4 weeks and still she can't get one.

Service is so poor. When you’re not well you should be able to see a doctor within a few days. Booking appointment system is nor usable,

I have had eye problems in phoning judges close reception was told to go to opticians, which I did, only to be told I needed to see a GP!!
After calling GP for a second time I could not get past the receptionist again being told to go back to Opticians.
6 months later I have again been back to opticians who wrote a referral letter and I handed it to the practice.
2 days later I received a call fro Hospital with an appointment in July!!!!
I have given up truly depressing

Myself and my family have had nothing but problems with ship street surgery for years now. I have on many occasion complained via email. The complaints have been addressed by whatever practice manager is there at the time, apologies are made along with promises of re training for staff etc etc l. The new practice manager then leaves and it all happens again. I was also misdiagnosed and ended up very I’ll in hospital

I cannot fault the service my family has received from the medical staff when we have managed to see them. The problems appear to be in the way Modality's administration is handled.

Something as simple as a repeat prescription is no longer available. Haven’t seen a Dr in years. Just hope I don’t need one but feel so sorry for those who urgently do.

My daughter has autism and mental health issues. This is not taken into account when she tries to talk to someone about her health issues and medication. If she can get an apppointment she sees someone different each time and is given medication which often then triggers a reaction with her mental health medication but trying to ask someone to follow up her medication is impossible and takes time. She is told to go to A&E or Crawley walk in which also triggers her Autism and is then told by them to follow up with her GP. It is a nightmare and they are not proactive in trying to maintain her health and monitor medication.

All the comments apply to Judges Close which used to be a good practice. There was a Push Doctor device which was the first port of call presented to the caller but that is no longer available. I assume the reason for the abandonment of this service was because it cost Modality too much. GP practices should not be run by companies external to NHS

Although this petition names the Ship Street practice, the points raised are equally true for Crawley down
