We used to be able to book appointments on line and even if we had to wait a week or two at least we had a fixed time and date. It is now impossible to get an appointment at all. There doesn't seem to be any communication between the office staff and the medical team, especially where prescription are concerned.

I agree with the crazy appointment methods. When I eventuallt got through, they said all emergency appointments for the day had been allocated and to phone the next afternoon when the next batch of appointments, beginning in two weeks time, will be released. Impossible. Ship Street used to be great especially our doctor, Dr Bellamy.

Do you think k it acceptable that one can never get an appointment when being told to call first thing in the morning and doing so to be number 25 in the que and after holding getting through to be told appointments have gone and call back tomorrow for more off the same used to always be able to get an appointment but now a very poor service

So dissatisfied with the service both my wife and I have never taken advantage of the nhs service but both of us are getting older and need the support of our go ora rice. My wife had a seizure two weeks ago after trying to get an appointment fir two weeks I was told to cal 999 and request an ambulance. A total mis use of emergency services and a complete waste of resources. In the end I had to contact my wife’s neurology consultant who was so kind and saw her the next day , but only after an email begging for help. Modality have me and failed my wife! After being completely abandoned when my wife suffered a stroke at the start of covid they have failed on every front! Modality I’m my opinion do not care about their patients they just want to make money. Totally atrocious service and if I could change gps I would

I agree ..particularly with the call system ..three times in the past month when I have called for an appointment and chosen to hold ..after about 40mins it has cut me off..sole destroying when you were told the only chance to get an appointment was to call at 8.30 the next morning to find you were 40 in the queue..to wait 40mins of your day with health issue urgently on your mind - only to find you were mysteriously cut off - it made me cry. Seriously there must be a better way than clogging up the calls with everyone’s calls from the previous day

This also applies to Judges Close Surgery. When you do get through to them they are abrupt and unhelpful.
