I have been calling up every morning 8:30 for two weeks to get an appointment after having serious blood clots on my lungs. Auitomated services tell me I’m 20 odd in the queue then the phone goes dead after 30 mins - you then phone back and get told there are no available slots,

It used to be a great surgery, but now impossible to get an appointment. Admin does not seem to be joined up - it seems staff turnover is very high - makes you wonder why. Do your own online monitoring - no 6 month review or tests, have to wait a year..

This Surgery has been struggling for a long time. It is not alone with the struggles in covid, overprescribed etc however they are not managing basic roles like answering the phones, offering appointments, advice and Patients have lost confidence in them.

Appointment system is useless. Wait time on the phone is unacceptable. Waiting 3 weeks for an appointment is ridiculous.

As a working person I can’t keep waiting to get through to a receptionist to be told to repeat process next day. It just seems the system is set up to process you as slowly as possible to keep statistics of waiting times down.

On day appts are telephone appts only, I had to go crawley hospital to see a Doctor in person for chest infection. Very sad situation. Nurses are always brilliant though, and super happy with their support.

I'm registered at Judges Close which is part of the same group. I've had no success with telephone attempts to get an appointment for more than 3 years and have a longer term condition- it's disgraceful.

This petition should be to remove Modality who are not fit for purpose.

Although not my surgery. This is appalling and sounds like really bad management.

We have been seen at Ship Street by great doctor's over many years SINCE Modality took over we simply can not get through to any of the doctors anymore. The appointment system is unexceptable to people signed up with Ship Street surgery and causes a lot of stress. To make an appointment you have to call at a certain time, then hang in the cue for ages, over an hour is the norm, to be told there is no appointment and to call back next morning to repeat the same. No one seems to be available, either reception nor doctors. we have been sent to see a doctor all over the place. I can't remember the last time my family was able to see a doctor face to face at Ship Street practise.

Same issues at Crawley Down Surgery also owned by Modality, lovely staff when you get to see them, but the services are no longer fit for purpose. Push Doctor needs to be reinstated at the very least! It can’t go on like this.
