Demand answers from Modality

Cannot get an appointment with a doctor face to face. Can only go to a pharmacist so many times before they send you back to the GP. What is Ship Street there for? No complaints of NHS at consultant level. The surgery cause problems with long term medication, interfering when it’s not their job to.

I have been a patient at Ship Street surgery since moving to East Grinstead in 1983. The practice's default position seems to be to refer patients without an appointment to Crawley Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre. I have experienced this on my last 3 attempts to see a GP. There is simply no contingency for seeing patients with urgent needs. My most recent experience earlier this week involved concerns about my heart (I have a history of heart issues). I was in no fit state to drive the 10+ miles to Crawley with tachycardia, light headedness and nausea my main symptoms - it would have been irresponsible to do so. Fortunately, my wife was on hand to drive me there. The receptionist was insistent that I could not see a GP and was obviously not qualified to assess my condition or my ability to get myself to Crawley Hospital.

This go practice is not fit for purpose, from no appointment for my elderly father, with very swollen foot, down to the go not wanting to see him, they always get prescriptions wrong.

Appalling Autonomous Group of Surgeries. Dangerous & Not improving. Contact me to join with my Complaints of very serious nature & to hear yours to join together to get more done to stop the Negligence continuing.

Awful service which is getting worse and us now at a neglectful level.

I have given up with this surgery. Uou cannot book forward appointments, as we used to.

Modality has turned all its practice sites in the East Grinstead area into non-functioning surgeries, Ship Street, Judges Close and Crawley Down are just non-functioning Surgeries. A huge disappointment, no continuum of care, absolute descries to the medical profession.

service is awful and new patient booking system doesn't work, asks a million questions only to tell you no appointments avialable and call the surgery number, where no one ever answers, useless as usual.

Disgraceful service, I was told I need to have another check up in 3 months. The doctor could not book this in as their book was not open. I was told to call and make an appointment. So far 5 phone calls, I still cannot get an appointment, a message was sent to my doctor a week ago, still no reply from the doctor. Not only is it wasting my valuable time not to mention additional worry as not being able to get an appointment, its also taking up the reception staff time and costing the NHS every time I call back.

Ship Street was a wonderful surgery. The advent of Modality has and continues to be an unmitigated disaster that is failing patients.

You can never get an appointment!

Atrocious. Hours of calling to be told to call back the next day. Then when you do get through you get "no appointments available". Online triage system for appointments only available for 3 hours & never get a response. Revoke this company's contract.

The most frustrating doctors surgery I have had the misfortune to belong!!!

I have not been able to see or speak to a doctor since I registered there. It is an absolute shambles. I suffer with crohns and need to see a GP when it flares up. Every time I called phone cut off after a recorded message explained that they could not see any more patients that day. When I did speak I was told the same. Visited the surgery and was told to go home and wait for a GP to call me, it never happened. Unbelievably bad.
