Pearson is a scam, designed to rob our students, parents and teachers for corporate profits.

Tests are only be valid when they are created by teachers who understand child development and age appropriate questioning techniques.

Stop making profits off kids.

I do not understand why we have allowed a British corporation to take over American Public Education, stifling, limiting what our children learn, boring our children with mindless repetition of things that are unimportant, expecting children to learn developmentally inappropriate material in developmentally inappropriate ways, scripting teachers' teaching and instruction, limiting teacher expertise during instruction and creation of instructional materials and curriculum, penalizing children and their teachers for failing assessments that are designed to create failure, which puts even more money into Pearson's, charter school owners', and pols' hands. These tests are horrible. I have seen them.

since my tax money goes to pay the Pearson contract I demand a review of it.

This must be looked at.

These tests are way above grade appropriate levels and involved too much time having to go back and forth from question to article to find a specific line or paragraph. The texts were also difficult for inner city students to relate to.

Please listen to us parents. This is our children who we are fighting for. They deserve the best we all have to offer.
