Why would the State Ed Dept contract with a company that does not allow teachers to review the exams and students and parents have no information regarding the students achievement on the exam other than a single number?? I am suspicious that there is some political gain for those supporting Pearson. How do we know that what we get from Pearson is accurate information when they submit their final report in August?

Why would the State Ed Dept contract with a company that does not allow teachers to review the exams and students and parents have no information regarding the students achievement on the exam other than a single number?? I am suspicious that there is some political gain for those supporting Pearson. How do we know that what we get from Pearson is accurate information when they submit their final report in August?

Pearson should be investigated. Billionaires should not be at the head of education and curriculum. Math and ELA are not the only important pieces of education and children shouldn't be made to feel incompetent based on a test that's not at their level. It's also a violation of IDEA for students with disabilities.
