The university of Ghana-Accra city campus over the years has been charged with exorbitant tuition fees which has led to an appreciation in the number of students who defer their course and discontinue their academic journey as a result of their inability to meet these financial requirements. In view of this the UG-ACC SRC has moved to petition the high office of the Speaker of Parliament for a review and reduction in the proposed fees schedule for the 2017/2018 academic year.

The fact that we pay double the fees of those on main campus, excluding us accommodation in campus, is quite infuriating. Most of us did not choose city campus as our specified campus, and not all can afford to pay these fees. Reduce them. Reduce them now
We need a reduction in our fees now Because we those on city campus are paying a lot and yet we have no facilities to talk of our hostels too we have to be going to and fro which is always a waste of money so the university should hear our voice now
I hope this goes far because previous efforts have proved futile.... We pay outrageous fees and yet we lack so much from poor tution to facilities to the extent that you can't eveb pride yourself as a city campus student..This is so embarrassing and is a gross disrespect to us.
We are all tutored by same lecturers, same syllabus under the same government, why then the huge difference in fees. Accra City Campus is an annex of University of Ghana, why then do we have to pay such huge amounts, or perhaps is our campus a private one? This is next to cheat.
Would be glad if the fees is reduced and treated as the main campus students because the same exams and midsem are written on the same day with the same lectures.its not fair we all university of Ghana students just different campuse.Thank you

I don't understand why there's quite high gap between main campus and city campus with regard to the payment of fees. For admin students only, main campus is paying 1200 and something whilst city campus is paying 3200+ ..why??????
