This program is a huge reason why we remain residents of New York City. Our 2 year old girl deserves the same opportunity our 7 year old son has had. Please keep g&t program.

Families of all types across NYC depend on these vital programs. They need to be expanded, not eliminated!

Every child is different and we need all of them. G&T children enjoy learning, don't break their dreams. Also if G&T would be canceled, rich family just can move to private schools or out of the city, NYC public school would be worth.

Please continue the G&T program that has proven to be successful. The way to help lower tier student is not to dumb down the top tier student. Stop your politically motivated show. Thank you.

Is the mayor so politically impotent that he actually fears what a group of parents have to say? Rhetorical question.

Save G&T and expand it to every school. There are bright children in every school and it just needs govt. will.

G&T or Accelerated academic options should not be dismantled and remade based on the whims and ideology of one administration. We demand meaningful family and community engagement and responsiveness to the needs of all communities.

I strongly believe that no decisions should be made about our children's education by our governing bodies without hearing from parents and allowing them to be part of the process.

Removing G&T program will hurt the diversity of children’s creativity, interest and talent. Some kids like to learn knowledge and seek fun in books and questions on desk. They should not be ignored. It is wasting the gift from god.

The city is trying to ruin what is working. They are trying to use a quick fix to a bigger, more nuanced problem. The goal they wish to achieve can't be done through policies. They will learn this the hard way.

The needs of all students should be addressed both the special Ed needs & the fast learner. We wouldn't eliminate help for students who need special education so why eliminate education for the speedy learner. Parents have their children's interests at heart so their involvement helps develop what needed for their children's success
Keep G&T program for NYC public schools.
