We relocated to out current house (with its obligation to pay higher taxes) primarily based on the high caliber of the local schools. It is now beginning to look like our trust in the school system is being undermined by other forces intent on diluting out this high quality! Let's not destroy progress!

Let's get a thoughtful, detailed plan in place that considers options aside from destroying a great, thriving school in Dilworth Elementary! Furthermore - the middle school situation is absolutely untenable and ruinous to our children's educations (and dare I say home values). If this plan is approved, our children will not attend Dil/Sed elementary or Sedge middle school and I know that our family is not alone in deciding to quickly leave CMS!

Let us hold off as more time and study are required!

Rezoning McCauley to Hopewell will drive our home value down. I will leave the county if this is passed.

Considerable concern regarding combining Dilworth and Sedgefield. Compromising educational excellence and disrupting elementary educational at a crucial developmental time. Is the school system still ignoring the needs of the children in ALL academic levels by focusing on the lower achievement levels? This difficult scenario is not rectified by the proposed changes.

Learned that after these changes the 2 high schools in Huntersville will be over 100% capacity. There is nothing but consistent growth happening in the area it is time to be proactive with planning vs a 10 year reactive plan. Please get the state more involved with increasing funds for new schools and allowing more success in this district. How do we do this?

The superintendent did not give Board Members adequate time to look the plan over before she presented the board with her proposal. And she is not giving the public enough time either. Not only that, she is not answering questions that parents are asking.

I am fully against the moving of Dilworth to sedgefield . We want to stay st AG as our middle school ! Period!

This is too short a time to make a thoughtful considered decision. The community deserves the opportunity to digest and discuss this important change.

I agree Paired elementary schools seems worse and they never asked for feedback on this option Secondly, Dilworth stepped up last time. They should look harder at options that lean more on MPTS, Eastover, selwyn etc
