With the recent changes in Ohio Graduation requirements, there is no longer a need to have OGT week. This week was when school started at 10:15 and classes were shorter with a 30 minute lunch. Throughout the week many students felt better rested and it was easier to focus in class. It was nice to have a break from the normal bell schedule. Each day personally, I gained 2-3 hours of sleep in the morning. There were many health benefits to this as well, it helped my body recover from waking up at 6am everyday. The school has held OGT week for years and children have graduated just fine, we should keep the tradition of OGT week.

getting extra sleep actually helped me pass my tests last year. why change something that worked so well for everyone?
