I agree with everything written. This is a challenging time for sure. I do not want to be inconsiderate to the spreading of this plaguing virus, however I completely support the cry for the spring sports to continue is some form. These kids, especially the seniors, deserve this opportunity that they have worked for all these years. Please allow this!!!

My son is a freshman and said something that hit me hard the other day. “I have waited my entire life to play high school baseball and here I am in my Freshman year and cannot even play” he made varsity as a Freshman and cannot even showcase what he is capable of doing. While he may still have a few years left, the seniors that have worked tirelessly at perfecting their skill and/or going out with a bang have had that opportunity stripped from them. I whole heartily believe Utah should allow the sports seasons to continue with a delayed schedule. The kids deserve it!

Please let the kids play. They have worked HARD for the last 10 years for moments to cherish with their teammates and coaches. It will put smiles and moments that will last a lifetime. Please let the kids play.

I’m a senior at pleasant grove high school, please reconsider your decision to cancel spring sports. I have waited my whole life for the opportunity to play my senior year and now it is prematurely being taken from me. Let the kids play

Of course, they should play !
Everyone even wears gloves before they handle the bat and when they catch the ball ! Safest sport to play along with golf . LET THEM PLAY!

I am a HS coach and my girls worked soooo hard to prepare for the season. I believe they should have a chance to play and the seniors should have a chance to play their last season!
