UHSAA - Please Reconsider - Delay is ok, but let them all play!

Let them play even just a few games.

Let the kids play even if it means playing in an empty stadium.

My sister has worked incredibly hard for her senior year of track. She is already heartbroken that she is missing out on so many other things. Please allow for her to have some competition in her favorite sport.

Please reconsider!! This is necessary to integrating back to normalcy

Sports is MY LIFE. It keeps me active, it keeps me sane, and it keeps my grades up. The grade requirements to be able to run and play are a huge motivator for me to get all my work in and get good grades. It would benefit me soo much. It’s like my mental health needs it as well as my physical health.

Don’t deny the seniors the opportunity of playing when they have worked so hard for this, their last season!!!

I think these student athletes have worked hard for many years and should have the chance to compete, especially those who are seniors, they will never get this opportunity back again.

Spring sports for the most part is out doors and more manageable. I feel that if we can come up with a viable plan then we should. The effects of these seniors missing out on what they have worked so hard for for so long I feel will be more damaging in the long run than this virus.

I have a senior. We are all so sad by this news of the cancellation.

All of us athletes have worked since we were very young to get the chance to win a state championship. For many, this is their last chance. They should have a chance to fulfill this achievement, even if it is in May-July.
