UHSAA - Please Reconsider - Delay is ok, but let them all play!

I coached High School Lacrosse don’t take the Senior’s last time of being on the field we have all been there when’s it’s the last time but at least you have a season to prepare and teammates that has become family through it all the ups and downs the season takes let them have that experience

As noted in the petition, the nature of Spring sports really does merit an exception to the guidelines currently in place. An abbreviated season that begins Memorial Day weekend and culminates 4th of July weekend would be both reasonably safe and incredibly boosting to the morale of these young athletes and the communities that support them.

It would be so easy to social distance at these sporting events. Please consider this and allow these kids to have their senior year in the sport they have worked so hard in for so long. Thanks

Save it. Save the seniors season

This isn’t just about playing a game or winning a trophy. It’s really about allowing our young men and women to continue to develop the real life skills that participating in team sports instills in them. Teamwork, dedication and sacrifice...Skills that will stay with them long after their playing days are over. They are the future. Let’s help them succeed. Not just on the field, but in LIFE!!!

Let the kids play sports as soon as this stay home order is released. Don’t take away this high school experience

Please don’t ruin the athletes season.

The kids have lost so much already the least that can be done is that they be allowed to play even if it is later than usual. As a parent I’ve paid the fees bought equipment and donated to the program to support my child. Now my child won’t have the opportunity to play and she’s heartbroken.

They’ve worked so hard their whole lives! Let them finish strong!

Please please please reconsider! This is an amazing time normally for these kids.

let them play it’s so unfair . Understand there is a global pandemic but the kids who are seniors at least deserve to play one last game .... LET THEM FREAKIN PLAY
