I have owned the music for 35 years, I just watched " Delaney & Bonnie & Friends: Copenhagen December 10, 1969 " for the first time. It was one of the most stirring performances I have seen from any band ....ever

Delaney & Bonnie's "Comin' Home" is on every CD I record at home to take with me on car trips. Not only is it time for them to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, it's long overdue!

That fact that Eric Clapton joined this band is more than enough reason for inclusion but as long as I am here, Duane Allman never missed an opportunity to sit in with these folks either.

DB & Friends were directly involved in about 20 seminal U.S. and British albums. Alan Pariser, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Derek & The Dominos, not to mention solo albums...it's a no-brainer DB & F should be in he R&R HzOF.

delaney was the greatest musician...and son writer...I have known him since highschool days.. we lost him much too soon.

Well, there's no need to discuss it. Put Delaney and Bonnie in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while Bonnie can still enjoy it and sing at the induction.
This couple played their music under the radar their whole careers. Stop overlooking and make amends with a Hall of Fame induction.

The influence of Delaney and Bonnie on the world music scene is impossible to calculate as it is so immense. The problem is that no one knows the influence of the Delaney family. Just between mom, dad and daughter they have played with everyone from Hendrics, Lennon, Clapton to Fleetwood Mac. Need an example of what the music would would be like without them? A good example would be that Delaney helped Eric Clapton ditch heroin and encouraged him to sing on his own. It was Delaney who brought together Duane Allman, Eric Clapton and himself to do Layla! What would the world be without Layla,and Eric Clapton for that matter?
I beg you to look at the REAL history of rock and roll and wonder why Hendrix wanted to play with the band, or Eric, or Lennon, Ringo of so many other people. It was a crazy world back in the early 70s and Delaney and Bonnie helped us to get through it. None of us who love rock and roll would be here otherwise. Period. And that's a fact!

The first time I heard Delaney & Bonnie was on "Delaney & Bonnie and Friends: On Tour with Eric Clapton. It was a great introduction, and I have loved listening to all the music, with all the Friends, since then. It is certainly time to recognize the contribution that Delaney & Bonnie have made to the music world.

For your consideration;
The Rock and Roll Haal of Fame has suffered a case of severe short-sightedness, which needs to be corrected! Induct Delaney and Bonnie into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If you were to poll the many greats of rock and roll, Delaney and Bonnie would be right in there, and they would be clamouring to be person chosen to induct these two amazing musicians. Their influence brought together the best of the best, to tour together...as equals, creating an original sound unparalleled to this day. Try doing that today.
Ladies and Gentlemen, bring it on home...induct Delaney and Bonnie and the jam at the end of the evening will be like NO OTHER EVER BEFORE. It is long overdue...and very well deserved ..

They should've been inducted years ago...their contributions are endless ... their voices devastating!!! Bonnie is still singing like crazy!
