Saw them at SUNY Stony Brook in 1971 and was a great show. Little Richard was the first group on stage and Duane Allman played with Delaney and Bonnie.

We played their song Never Ending Love at our wedding this year April 2018 in Carmel, CA. My husband who is from England loved their music as a little boy. He said “Listening to that song, when I was a little boy, I had the conscious memory of wondering, ‘I wonder when I’ll feel that way about someone?’ “

This is a no brainer. They should've been among the first groups inducted when the Hall of Fame was created.

Their music was groundbreaking and influenced many. Eric Clapton learned to sing, George Harrison learned to play slide. Also Derek & The Dominos were a sort of baby from Delaney & Bonnie.

Bonnie remains unmatched as a white soul singer. Delaney's performing, writing, arranging, and production skills are the work of a genius. Why they are not more widely regarded and honored for their talents is a mystery and a disgrace. Put them prominently in the HOF.

Delaney and Bonnie are part of the advent of the Rock Revolution which overtook the airwaves and the mind's of young people coast to coast as well as worldwide in the 60's. They played with the gods of the era, they influenced the future of Rock & Roll, their induction is long overdue.

Delaney and Bonnie were rock and roll pioneers that played with about every artist and her voice was magic. In the 1960s she was right there with Grace Slick and Janis. She was inspirational to many later female artists. Both Bonnie and her husband made some of the best music of the time. Both should be in the hall of fame. Certainly they deserve it more than some you have already inducted.
