Following the wake of the United State\'s most costly natural disaster-Hurricane Katrina, we are asking oil companies operating and selling oil in the United States to make a voluntary short term deferment of some/all of their profits to aid the economic recovery of the region and to help prevent an economic downturn in the entire country. We are appealing to: Amoco Oil Company, Shell Oil,Conoco,Burlington Resources Inc., Exxon Mobil,British Petroleum,Unocal,Harkin Oil et al... to be pro-active in providing this economic relief and voluntarily suspend profits until a recovery is underway.
