Defend Prospect Park's Vale of Cashmere!

This area is a critical haven for birds along their migratory path and must be protected.

I am a resident living near prospect park. I do not support the construction of new structures in the park. That would be a negligent use of our money and would take away from the natural beauty and serenity of the park.

The Vale of Cashmere is for wildlife . Preserve it better for wildlife.

Please do not destroy the park for profit. Please, no.

We live in a concrete jungle surrounded by so many highrises, That are getting higher with each passing year, we need the vast open green space in Brooklyn that The vale of Cashmere offers to be protected. Just like how Central Park is protected in Manhattan.

Protect our sanctuary spaces. They’re all we have left.

The Vale of Cashmere is a unique corner of Prospect Park. It is a place of quiet contemplation, where one finds a connection with birds and the surrounding beauty of this special place. The plans put forth by PPA disregard the particular atmosphere of the upper and lower Vale. The plan should be reconsidered and changed to preserve the essence of the Vale.

Don't make changes to the Vale.

Preserve and restore the original beauty of the Vale.

Please do not develop this unique natural space--we need more of this, not less.

NYC needs more trees and green space, not more party places! Stop bowing down to the entertainment + real estate lobbyists who want endless development. #SAVENYCPARKS!

The Vale has become a nature preserve, an area of seclusion affording environmental and preservation for birds, plants and people seeking solace. We do not need more buildings, amphitheaters, event spaces. Changing the names of the spaces and context of wording is getting ridiculous and feels manipulative. The plan stings of colonization creating a more policable environment to rid the park of undesirables. As we know this area of the park is a have for LGBTQx community. And birds. $20 million for bathrooms?!? No buildings! No concrete! No asphalt! Preserve nature and tranquility we are so desperate for. Olmsted would not approve!!

Please preserve this natural habitat!

The birds need this wild space more than parkgoers.

We don’t need more event spaces. Let it be.
