The JEP proposals are fair, sensible and workable - no need to impose what amounts to a pay cut.

It's been comprehensively shown that USS was never under threat and there's still no reason for contribution increase now.

USS is a wealthy fund. There is a political campaign to undermine it in the interests of a handful of people. UCU needs to campaign for a return to fully funded Defined Benefit schemes

The employers should pay for any increase, not us! We haven’t had any contribution “holidays”!

Please just stop the nonsense and imlement ALL the JEP recommendations. I would rather not have to go on strike again, but i will if I have to.

There is no good reason for downgrading pensions in any way.

The case for additional payments has been blown apart by mathematicians, statisticians and actuaries.

The JEP report, an initiative for a resolution both sides had agreed on, was strongly, scientifically substantiated. Not fully implementing it means the employers' side is U-turning. Last year we showed how we reply to the employers' disrespecting us; how dedicated and how effective we can be. Let's prepare for action again.

Very disappointed by lack of transparency from USS, as well by the way certain people within the organisation are playing games with our deferred pay. Am ready to go on the picket line again if that’s what it takes to make sure beneficiaries are properly and legally treated.
