I studied at UCL 15 years ago and it obviously does not seem to be the same uni anymore. What a difference a change of leadership and a mad dash for commercialisation makes! Does UCL want to be like that pseudo-prestigious university full of bullies that's not too far away in another corner of London, whom it claims to be diametrically opposed to in ideology?

I am ashamed to attend a universtiy that resorts to bullying and intimidation to protect its profit warnings.

The meanness of UCL management in this affair is fully a matter of public interest. The student journalist should be congratulated and the relevant managers disciplined.

It is surely wrong for an educational establishment to behave like a corporation. Freedom of expression for students must not be compromised.

UCL are an absolute disgrace of an institution. I've said it before - it's not a university, it's a degree factory.

Business interests' and reputation should not come before students' interests and openness. The handling of this sends out the wrong message and does not reflect what I thought were core values of UCL.

UCL seems to have forgotten its primary duty is to its students. This is another example of guarding reputation over doing the right thing.
