The Pilgrims left England and came to America in 1620, so they could practice the religion they chose, among other things. This was some 400 years ago! The Bill o Rights became effective in 1791. There, it states that the people of the United States have freedom of religion! This was over 200 years ago! What happened to that? I am sad to see that unlawful decisions are being made by JUDGES in the country I was born in, grew up in, and love. The country where all men are created equal, with freedom of speech, press, and religion....

I am appauled someone’s religious rights and beliefs is being taken away. I am Greek Orthodox and am very happy my parents brought me up that way. How does this hinder his parenting abilities.

So it's okay for a child to choose their gender (really it's not), but it's not okay for a child to choose to say their prayers, read the Bible, learn and converse in another language, or observe a vegan diet (which is actually in the best interest of all humans) certain days throughout the year?! Oh the hypocrisy and sheer lack of logic that is ever more prevalent in today's society. Let us stand together and fight this injustice to uphold the freedoms our country is supposed to afford all its citizens- not just the liberals and non-Christians!

In the US we have Freedom of Religion. I have been raised in a Greek religious community. They have strong faith and traditions that are beautiful. They share with the community these traditions every year with their Agora festival that I have attended since I was a child.

This judge is acting in an unlawful and uncivil matter. First, he is a father that has the right to raise his child according to his traditional or religion customs. Second, she as a judge has no right to discriminare against other ethnicities or religious and to even go as far as asking him to get pschyciatricly evaluated. She is obviously racist and needs to get fired and even dealt with a legal system of the USA
