I do not understand this. Religious freedom is one of the cornerstones of US democracy. Surely the wife knew about his religious background before she married him.

I am a teenage Orthodox Christian. I can’t imagine my parents not being allowed to raise me as an Orthodox Christian. I personally know this man, and I can tell you he loves his daughter and only wants what is best for her. Lord have mercy on this man and his daughter.

Iam a American man married to a orthodox Greek and now Iam baptized orthodox Greek. We have a four year old daughter and I couldn’t imagine not having her grow up knowing and learning the purest religion back to Christ. The judge and the “x” should be ashamed. Karma will get them!!

It is case of discrimination and denial of natural justice. Of course, authorities in developed countries might not understand the cultural practices of migrants
