Keep on fighting to teach your daughter your faith, language, and culture. Never give up. Through the prayers of our most Holy Theotokos, you will be victorious.

Freedom of religion is foundational in our country. This father and daughter are being deprived of their guaranteed right in this country to practice their religion.

This is still the United States of America and we are still FREE to worship and live as we so choose. This is not a dictatorship where we are told what to do, how to do it, when to do it, or not to do something. Or, is it? Can one Judge change our very Constitution or Amendments, our basic freedoms, upheld until now? Please sign this petition along with me. This is NOT right.

I am a convert, first of being a born-again Christian and more recently an Orthodox Christian. I wear an Icon made of silver of our Holy Theotokos and she (Mary, the mother of Jesus, our Lord) is very precious to me. I took her name, as Maria. My given name is Diane. The Orthodox faith has given me a depth in my life. There is stability and deep worship and faith in the Risen Lord. It is also very joyfilled. This is devastating decision and no one should separate a father's real love for his daughter as this man is being forced to do. No one. He should not go to jail. He should be applauded that in today's chaotic world, he is offering a stability and deep faith for his daughter to grow up in. Please sign the petition along with me. Please donate if you can... even a little bit, if we all do this, will help. Thank you.

Disgraceful that a father is not allowed to share his heritage & religion with his own child. I am Roman Catholic & not Greek but wife is and I am extremely proud of my kids and their involvement in the Greek Orthodox Church and it’s history along with where their roots are from both my wife’s and I. In return the church has done great thing for them from instilling great moral values to sports.
