Please don’t destroy this amazing place that so many love and appreciate. Keep the Hebgen Lake area free from mining. There are plenty of other places to mine that won’t interfere with the pristine community.

This mining operation is a terrible idea. We have generations of family that have enjoyed this area because of its quiet natural beauty. A gravel pit ( which has s all this is) destroys peace, quiet and air quality. It ruined North Salt Lake and ended up destabilizing many homes above it. Why make that mistake again?

The thousands upon thousands of people who come to Montana via Highway 20 from (or through) Idaho deserve to see the beauty that our great state has to offer, not an ugly, environmentally-damaging open pit mine.

This is so sad. Hebgen lake has been our families second home for generations. The thought that this could be ruined is extremely saddening to us and hundreds of others.

Also increased traffic & noise on hill going up/down Hwy 20 to/from continental divide & Idaho state line. Trucks are very loud on this high pass and sounds of engines & brakes echo through the forest for miles. A nuisance to peace and quiet of cabins and taking a walk in nature.
