It is quite interesting that the Left is attacking people that are quite moderate in their positions. Scientists by their nature should be curious and forever questioning theory. When I was young I read in history class that the Earth being flat was a settled science. It seems as though the Alarmists have something to fear. Could it be that that the Earth is heading into another cyclical cold cycle and the rug will be pulled from under their settled science.

It is a despicable act to call for these people to lose thier jobs. These climate scientists are obeying one thing, the scientific method in which they were trained. Being utterley sceptical is the default position of science and the scientific method. To question that statement is to question science as a method of investigation, a practice which sadly no longer utilised by the majority of the doomsayers who are activists first, scientists second.
