I recently moved to Dedham from Somerville where they have a trail similar to this. It is a great asset for the community.

I moved here from Australia where this sort of infrastructure is common place. I wish those opposed could understand how this project will actually revitalise the area and improve security and property value. its sad that the no campaigners are just scaremongering. This town desperately needs some bike infrastructure.

This seems like a very good idea. There are many rail trails in Edinburgh and they are extremely well used by cyclists, walkers, families, dog owners and people who like the fresh air.

I used to live near the railroad right of way in West Roxbury. One abutter in government in my neighborhood oversaw the distribution of the right of way to its abutters. I saw the much better use of rights of way elsewhere in Massachusetts and thought this was shameful greed. Rail trails should be for people to use.

The greater Boston area is in desperate need of more and better cycling infrastructure. I don'the see how a project like this could adversely impact the citizens of Dedham. Let's get this project going already!

Great idea! You'll love it Dedham. Come ride the bike path in Falmouth MA. It's one of the best ways to tour Falmouth and see the many beaches we have to offer! All for free!
