Currently we are not allowed to decorate the top of our graduation caps. Thousands of schools around the country allow this tradition. Agoura High School seniors should be allowed to participate in this tradition as well.

I was looking at some photos of other schools online today and realized how much personality we are missing out on by staring at these plain black squares. Honestly if I have to walk across that stage looking like everyone else I might lose my mind since we work way too hard for this day to be so boring. I started drafting a letter to the administration but keep getting distracted by ideas for my own cap design.

Our grad caps will be something that we keep forever and we want it to be something we can look at remember our experiences from high school and decorate it with things that will help us remember
