I am trying to have July 30th declared as Gastroschisis Awareness Day in Kentucky. This is an abdominal wall defect in which a babies intestines are on the outside of the stomach. my nephew was born with this and spent his first 3 months in the nicu. people have no idea what these families go through. kentucky needs to get on board with this.

DO IT. way too many people dont even know what this is. let's get it official for the kiddos.
