Given the declining number of Saurus Cranes all over the country, this is a great opportunity to offer protection to unique bird - which is the tallest flying bird in the world.

Dhanauri wetlands is the new birding hot spots close to NCR and has really turning out to be a treasure for all bird watchers. With more than 200 species being recorded in such a short while, the count of species will only go northward. Further this place is a such a heaven for the breeding population of Sarus Cranes, whose numbers have come down in other parts. Clearly if we dont ACT now, this place will follow the habitat destruction that we are seeing in all parts of India... SAVE NOW
