Rare bird species need to be looked at as a special case and location where such rare species are found needs to be given priority towards areas protection. more specifically the areas around the sanctuary should be also protected so that there is no disturbance and disruption till we manage to grow these species to a safe number.

We are losing wildlife habitats at a pace never seen before! Dhanauri holds promise BUT only if the 'powers that be' show some inclination towards protecting it. PLEASE declare it a sanctuary!

Since 1980 I have lived in various parts of India for a total of 12 years.Mylast 4 years were in Delhi up to 2004 and I witnessed incredibly rapid destruction of excellent wildlife habitat, notably the Holy Yamuna. This newly discovered paradise must be saved NOW for the magnificent Sarus Cranes there and all its wildlife. Do not lose out to greed and apathy. SAVE IT PLEASE...

Declaring this as a Sarus Crane Sanctuary is very important and critical for this species. Sarus Crane is a state bird of Uttar Pradesh and an exclusive sanctuary for this species will go a long way in creating a positive image towards conservation. Please look in this matter seriously and as soon as possible, since Sarus is a globally threatened species and requires your immediate action.

Nature is life. Our lungs need clean air, so do the other animals created by God.
