Declaration from the Lāhui Kanaka Rejecting and Condemning Naʻi Aupuni ʻAha

i am Kanaka Maoli National, Citizen in Residence within the Realm and Jurisdiction Kingdom of Hawaii, I do not support Nai Aupuni and their Nai Aupuni Convention known as the Nai Aupuni Aha. The N.A. Aha seeks to create documents with which to form a singular entity that will grant them exclusive relationship with the US Dept of Interior to enter in arrangements/agreements that will erode, corrupt, ultimately relinquish the Sovereignty of our Hawaiian Nation without the broad participation by the general Lahui Kanaka Maoli Constituency. There has been No Attempt by NA Aha Participants, N.A.Organizers/Fiscal & Techanical Staff & Resources, including the Sole Fiscal Sponsorship from OHA to educate the Lahui Kanaka in such processes as part of their fiduciary responsibility, to allow us Kanaka Maoli to form a collective consciousness to make formed decision about the future of our race and country. And N.A. Aupuni acts alone and without authority of the Voice and Spirit of Lahui Kanaka Maoli. N. A. Aupuni Is operating WITHOUT the Proper Authority and Expressed Informed Consent of General Lahui Kanaka Maoli Populace.

We don't need Na'i Aupuni 'Aha because we still have our Kingdom of Hawai'i Sovereignty Rights exist as of our Lahui Kanaka Mauoli Nation today and forever until the last Aloha Aina Patriot continue to say "NO TREATY, NO ANNEXATION". EO!

Having spent time with local politicians and community leaders I can say with certainty that rejection U.S. government sponsorship of a governing body in the name of the Hawaiian nation is an important step in the education of many to better understand the stakes and truths.

I, Cynthia L. Deleon, firmly reject the illegitimate Na'i Aupuni 'Aha whose objective is to create and produce a Native Hawaiian Government and governing documents by the unelected participants in this 'aha. This State sponsored entity do not represent me, nor do they have my consent to act or voice on my behalf.

As an American, I am appalled with the injustices committed against Hawaiians while illegally and admittedly occupied by the United States. I will not stand idle for the exploitation of Kingdom rights and people. Whether through such clearly invalid, inequitable attempts to appropriate governance of Hawaiian people such as Naʻi Aupuni, or efforts to establish federal recognition over the political sovereignty established under international law - I will stand with the Hawaiian Nationals seeking their just freedom from this occupation. I am committed to educating more Americans on these issues since I was raised with the false understanding the subjects of the Kingdom of Hawaii wanted annexation. The continued abuse of the public trust and Kingdom resources is unacceptable, and I am truly concerned with the undue authority Naʻi Aupuni has claimed without any reasonable legitimacy. Under what jurisdiction is an American non-profit authorized to establish a foreign governing body? Under none. I do not agree that the US has the right, nor the wisdom to involve themselves in the governance of Hawaii. I do believe it is the legal and moral obligation of the United States government to prepare for de-occupation and support a peaceful transition once a thoroughly vetted, fair and equitable process established by consensus of Hawaiian Nationals, has been properly established with respect to Kingdom and international law. Naʻi Aupuni meets none of these conditions and represents repeated affronts to the rights of Hawaiian nationals. I am deeply ashamed of the natural resource, financial and cultural abuses of the Hawaiian Kingdom raised by my own government, and I am dedicated to justice for the subjects and resources of the Kingdom of Hawaii and the rectification of these numerous injustices committed by the United States government, exemplified in this arrogant attempt to co-opt the true power and voice of the majority of Hawaiian Kingdom subjects. Why worry about Nai'aupuni. None of you listen to what I had to say. NO TREATY NO LANDS NO LAWS Where was your Alligence to the Hawaiian Kingdom? The United States violated all treaties with Hawaii and the neutrality of the Kingdom of Hawaii. Queen Lili'uokalani traveled to Washington DC in June of 1897 to personally withdrew her treaty and reclaim 4.1 million acres of Hawaiian Kingdom lands and 915,000 acres of Hawaiian Monarchal lands. She carried with her the Ku'e petition protesting US Annexation. If Na'aiupuni was suceccessful , you folks would have been okay with that and become slaves under the Department of Interior . Now you folks want to become Sovereignty . Very convient for you folks who had intentions of playing playing two sides of the coin. Does the United State Laws have jurisdiction over our Kingdom? The Nai Aupuni "AHA" - is NOT an ETHNIC/CULTURAL process that it can be narrated for Hawaiians. Just because people, some with koko convened a gathering at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club does not make it a "Hawaiian" Process.
