Well we're pretty much gonna draft a governing document no matter what. You guys can either vote for it or reject it or don't vote out of protest. I'm okay with pretty much any of those outcomes.

On behalf of my entire ohana and each and every kupuna that signed the Ku'e Petition, I thoroughly and with resound measure protest the Na'i Aupuni process currently taking place on O'ahu island with the purpose of creating a governing document for the Hawaiian people. I demand that the convention be terminated immediately and the facilities be open to the public for educational purposes for the remainder of the funding. There is no reason aside from misuse of beneficiaries' funding and deliberate disenfranchisement of the Hawaiian Nationals. Those at this conference continue to put our national sovereignty at risk with their presence and every thought and discussion entertained. Saying that independence is not an option is for people in the state-of-hawaii mind...I am in the Kingdom of Hawaiian Islands and kanaka ko pae aina Hawaii. Na'i Aupuni delegates are trying to work inside the corrupt system and know the rules of the corrupt, i.e. what the state of hawaii and america will accept. but the fact is our country was never terminated and they cannot provide proof! They are writing a governing document or constitution for those people who live in and agree with the state of hawaii to obey...not me, it is OPALA! all a waste of time and beneficiary funding!! It is with resolve that I sign this petition demanding Na'i Aupuni to be shut down now!! Charmaine Bugado

Nation to Nation relationship, not government to government, we are our own people and with an illegal process of a treaty of Annexation, it is completely wrong to have Naʻi ʻAupuni especially without the peoples choice

I strongly OPPOSE Na'i Aupuni. They do NOT represent me, my family or the Hawaiian people. I refute any and ALL claims of Na'i Aupuni being a voice for the Kanaka Maoli and their attempts of drawing up a Constitution. What they are doing is ILLEGAL (We already have a LEGAL Constitution in place that should be adhered to)...I render ALL acts of Na'i Aupuni to be null and void!

The Na'i Aupuni process has been a product of the U.S.D.O.I. designed by the fake state to deny the true and larger Hawaiian Lahui any opportunity to NOT CHOOSE to be an american tribe...

I protest Na'i Aupuni because it cut out it's own people from a governmental process. I feel it only right, if we are doing something this important it should be done pono.

Glad to sign this petition. Na'i Aupuni should not have happened. It now needs to be Huli 'ed and let them know we are not a stupid culture on welfare.
