As a non Hawaiian American citizen with a passport I hope to have to use to visit Hawaii in the future, I stand with the Kanaka Maoli in rejecting the very idea of Na'i Aupuni. A stolen country must be returned.

Na'i Aupuni was great practice in creating governing documents in a contemporary Hawaiian context. But cannot be confused with any kind of legitimacy to speak on behalf of anyone other than themselves as individuals.

As was stated in person at the DOI meeting, on behalf of myself, my lineage of the Kamehameha dynasty, I strongly oppose.
