I am a resident of New Westminster. The demand for public lap/lane-swimming is huge in our community. Countless kids have grown up swimming and completing in this venue.It would be extremely shortsighted to take away such an iconic New West tradition of producing champion swimmers.

Hyack Swim Club is one of the best swim clubs in Canada and they surely know how to use a 10-lane pool the best possible way. By giving it 10 lanes you will give a chance to hundreds and hundreds kids to become future Olympians and World class athletes. Needless to mention the great benefits, both financial and reputational, for the Royal City.
GO FOR 10 LANES, HYACK, GO!!!!!

We are currently looking to move from Burnaby to New westminster. Having children who love to swim competitively, we would highly benefit from a facility that would help our children fulfill their dreams with a pool that has multiple lanes.
Please help with the restoration of the pool.
