Before any further developments are approved, we MUST understand that 100 yr storms are much more prevalent now!

Protect Sarasota Bay! Stormwater and the sewer system is not managed responsibly within the city of Sarasota, Improvements must be made to limit toxic runoff into our waterways!

Protection of existing residents should come before new development. We need proper infrastructure and drainage plans first.

I have flooded three times within the last year during rain events due to the county not addressing drainage and allowing filling in lots to accommodate new higher construction without consideration where the water flows to. They choose higher property tax dollars over our safety of residents who have lived over 20 years in the same house! Shame on them.

Republicans have never met a developer that they do not like. Just keep the money flowing, and the developers have carte blanch to build on every green space in the state.

Require adequate infrastructure for storm water management before allowing anymore development in Sarasota.

Stop the building and fix the flooding situation. Our subdivision, Colonial Oaks also flooded pretty bad

It’s time to thoroughly consider the repercussions of your actions and think about what/how your decisions affect our community and the environment. Put the good of these over politics and money.

I have lived in the same house for 34+ years. We have been through multiple hurricanes but we have NEVER seen 5 feet of water in my back like we experienced with tropical storm Debby. This building has to be stopped and reevaluated. Thank you.
