I believe this is caused by over development without proper drainage and this issue needs investigated and resolved!!! What happens when we have a larger storm or hurricane??

Sarasota is being ruined by the ever increasing new Home construction. The traffic, the recent flooding that put us underwater again, destroying the natural beauty of Florida and the ecology is unacceptable. Stop the growth now!!! The residents who’ve been here for a long time are now seeing what was once the beauty of living here being destroyed.

Yes, we need these actions carried out immediately. There are still funds available under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law the county could apply for to fund a comprehensive infrastructure assessment and modernization plan to ensure such flooding does not happen again.

The current draining system on Midnight Pass Road is more than 40 years old. We pay taxes to keep things updated. We're done with all the flooding without the County doing anything about it.

Development needs to pause until flooding issues are properly addressed. Where are my tax dollars really going? I am tired of commissioners bought and paid for by developers.

Vote them all out. They do not have our best interest in mind. How does more congestion help anyone. The development will cause Clark Road and the entire area to have even more traffic issues. These developers create problems then say we could not have foreseen that. then they walk away. Or they promise the moon and hope that we forget. Enough is enough.
