Throughout the world women & girls suffer abuse & discrimination because of their sex. We cannot identify out of it. It is the gender stereotypes that are wrong, not children’s bodies.

I fundamentally disagree with Stonewall's current policies on transgender.

I feel it is important that discussion is conducted. Women are an oppressed sex and have protection under the equality act so raising these issues is not being transphobic. We also have a right to protection.

In view of the potential for men to abuse women and children I would prefer trans women to have their own awards, toilets, changing facilities, gyms, associations (like The Girl Guides or The Women’s Institute). Also where it is not possible (eg in prison) a separate section should be available for trans women to protect themselves and women from abuse. I hope trans women can find their place in society but not by taking the hard won and much needed place of women

My main concerns are around the lasting damage this extreme idiology is doing to young people by encouraging them to have unnecessary major surgery and a life time dependence on drugs and also the serious erosion of established safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable people.

I am too afraid to have my name visible . Trans activists routinely threaten violence/are very abusive and employ doxing tactics.

Please consider the diversity of viewpoints on these issues INCLUDING amongst LGBT people. We all thought that was who you were supporting.

It's very sad that Stonewall has lost its way. Please listen to women who are raising concerns about gender self-id.

I agree entirely that Stonewall's campaigning since 2015 has, intentionally or not, worked to undermine women’s sex-based rights and protections, and has caused immense damage to the relationship between transsexual people and others.
Stonewall must surely see the strength of feeling against the overreach of the misogynistic and illogical 'Trans women are Women' mantra, and to work to find common ground with women.

I’ve cancelled my Standing Order to Stonewall after 25 years. They no longer represent my interests. I’m a lesbian and feminist. Women’s spaces must be protected. No one’s rights can be allowed to supersede anyone else’s rights.

A full, open and respectful debate need to be had regarding the impact on safeguarding for children. Stop burying your head in the sand over it and engage!
