The fact I don't feel safe putting my name to this speaks volumes. Stonewall used to be a place of safety for me. I have very fond memories of being welcomed by them at my first pride march and celebrated with them when SSM became law. But now, I feel incredibly let down by the very same people who I once fought with. I am a lesbian. A female who is attracted to females. Why did Stonewall turn against us?

Safeguards need to be kept in place for women and children. Please dont take away womens rights that have been fought for. Self ID is open to abuse. RESPECT womens voices.

Lesbian women are biological females. Women are biological females. We will never submit to this grotesque gaslighting that biological males are women, let alone lesbians. Stonewall is no longer one of the good guys, it's really disappointing. You cannot represent people by not listening to them and imposing tyrannical views from on high - that's not the Stonewall we knew and loved

I never imagined I would be campaigning on anything on the opposite side to Stonewall. I am shocked, angry and disgusted at Stonewall’s campaign against women’s rights and against lesbians. It’s appalling. Women are adult human females. Lesbians are attracted to women, not men, and it is NOT transphobic to say so.

It’s imperative we are able to discuss and debate these incredibly important issues openly and respectfully and that organisations such as Stonewall do their part in fostering such spaces. Particularly when what is happening is so significant in the very definition of what it means to be LGB, and of course a woman.
