I'm a straight ally who has campaigned for LGBT rights since my teens in the 80s. I've always respected Stonewall, but over the last few years, they seem to have been hijacked by what seems to be an anti-science, misogynist, HOMOPHOBIC, totalitarian cult - trans activism. Their demands defy science, logic, reason and decency, and the shockingly appalling way they treat anyone who dissents in the slightest is obscene.
We are facing the erasure of a whole generation of young lesbians, as well as many young gay men, thank to transactivists. No decent person can see the way lesbians are abused and threatened, or the 4000% increase in teen girls and young women - almost exclusively lesbians - presenting at gender clinics wanting to escape a hideously lesbophobia, misogynist world by "becoming" male, and not see a huge problem.
Stonewall has always been at the forefront of the notion that if the world is bad to you, you change the world. Now it is giving young lesbians the message that the world is right about them and they must change to fit in that world.
Please, Stonewall, take a step back and think about what you are doing. You are trying to get rid of the rights of women. No other oppressed group in history except for current trans activists has ever said that their rights depend on the removal of rights of an even greater oppressed group, or depend on dehumanising that group and even making the description of that group a crime. You are through the looking glass, Stonewall, but, like Alice, you can come back. If you want to. Please want to.

There is nothing wrong with being transgender.
There is however a problem with the concept of self id in the age of #metoo when we are becoming more aware of the vulnerability of women.
In light of cases such as Jacinda Brooks it seems to be a good time to consider that there may be issues with the current approach to womens concerns.

I used to have great respect for Stonewall, but I am horrified by the organisation's switch of direction. Gay and lesbian people have been betrayed and Stonewall is now actively working against their interests, particularly those of lesbians. If I see a Stonewall award now I no longer think the recipient respects diversity, I worry about how they are treating women and girls. I would not want my daughter to attend a school with a Stonewall award in case she proves to be a lesbian, in which case it would likely be a hostile environment for her. This reversal is tragic. Your brand is toxic now, especially to women. Please rethink your direction and go back to being the great organisation you once were.

So sad to see Stonewall acting in the way it has been. Shameful.

By adopting a very narrow ideological viewpoint and declaring all other views to be transphobic Stonewall risks alienating people who support LGBT rights and even creating a backlash against a vulnerable minority group.

The proposed GRA reform will be abused by predatory men. Our concerns are not against the rights of trans people, but about the bullying, misogyny and aggressive bullying by TRAs who are trying to negate women's rights to privacy, safety and dignity.

When the trans ideology tells lesbians and gay men that their same-sex attraction is morally wrong or just doesn't exist and you support that ideology, you are betraying every lesbian and gay man you claim to represent. You're crapping on women, homosexuals and transsexuals with this bogus ideology which is not rooted in science, biology, or common sense. Trying to get this belief system enshrined in law and indoctrinated into children's minds is oppressive, dangerous, and will ultimately lead to transsexuals being equated with perversion as more males use the GRA to access and abuse women and girls. In the meantime how many lesbians and gay men will mutilate themselves because the gender stereotypes this ideology reinforces leads them to believe being a butch female or an effeminate male is some sign of being in the wrong body. How many young lesbians will capitulate to sex with male bodied "lesbians" under the enormous social pressure they face to not be transphobic by saying "no". Your actions are shameful in every respect.

As a woman, and lesbian, I am deeply opposed to th extreme trans agenda, and the Gender Recognition Act. The extreme transa agenda seeks to undermine my rights both as a woman and lesbian.

Please, this is not transphobia. I support the right for trans people to live as they wish to and to be recognised in they way they wish. But I also think there must be a debate about the extent to which this can impinge on women's rights to defend their identities and spaces. And I'm very worried by the unwillingness by many to tolerate debate on this. I believe Stonewall has been guilty of contributing to this atmosphere with accusations of transphobia. Ultimately, I don't think this is helpful to anyone, including transwomen and transmen, because it feeds a backlash against their rights in general.

Safe spaces for all according to their need. Forced entry into any safe space via a closed ideology creates yet another tyranny of oppression... which women have fought to break free of this for centuries. Take a lesson in His Story. Not in my name Stonewall.

Bullying from one section of society to another is unacceptable we live in a country if free speech except apparently if you are born female. Transgender rights need to be progressed and protected but rights of others should not be damaged in the process. Women’s rights were hard fought for and there is now an aggressive and hardline group of people who want to trample over them. There should be open discussion, without threats, to further transgender rights without stamping on desperately needed women’s only spaces.

You have done a massive disservice in recent years to the homosexual community you used to strive to represent, you are removing lesbian rights, woman's rights and most of all genuine transexuals rights. The damage Stonewall have helped to create will take years to undo, you have pulled the reputation of transexuals into the mud along with your ethical practices, rather than living alongside women you have helped create a toxic environment where transgendered people are to be feared, like some violent gang.
Please listens to those who are outside the current bubble, the actual people who need a voice.

The rights and freedoms of any one person should never be given more weight than the rights of another person. Stonewall currently puts the rights of a transperson above those of a woman.

Hi there,
I am concerned about the ongoing issues re the trans movement. I respect that all groups deserve acceptance and the right to exist, however, it is evident that the trans movement is seriously harming women and girls. We must keep sex a protected characteristic and avoid potential harm to women and girls by keeping sex segregated spaces. I do not believe that all trans women are a threat but there is evidence of men abusing self ID and this will continue if there is no debating of the policy.
It is not transphobic or bigotry to defend the safety of women and girls, and this is another point that should be emphasised within the discussions of the gender debate. It is also very homophobic to argue that lesbians are bigots for not wanting to sleep with trans women. Trans women are biologically male, and there is no debating that fact. Therefore, labelling lesbians (and gay men re trans men, however all of this appears to be directed at lesbians - don’t need to be a genius to work out as to why that is!) bigots for not wanting to have sex with trans women is wrong on so many levels.
The amount of men who have been harassing women online re the trans movement speaks volumes. The movement has a serious misogyny problem, and I really hope you as an organisation can help to address this and work towards a better future where women and trans people can return to having healthy relationships.
Many thanks,
