The rights of women and girls should be protected. A lesbian is not a man with a penis and that notion that he could be should not be forced on lesbians.

Natal women need safe public spaces.

Standing up for women's sex-based rights especially those of lesbians to express an exclusive preference for their own sex rather than be expected to date males calling themselves 'women' is not bigotry but upholding the very freedom the gay rights movement fought so hard to achieve

We cannot tackle the sexism lesbians face or the homophobia gay men and women face if we ignore the material reality of sex. Transgender politics currently fails L, G and B to prioritise the identity choices of T+. Sex matters.

Stonewall- I have serious concerns about child safeguarding and sex-based protections for women. Expressing these concerns does not make me transphobic. I do have a phobia...of rapists and paedophiles, who do exist. Your current agenda places women and children at risk. Instead of acknowledging our concerns you insist that people who speak up are the aggressors. That is not the case.

We live in a democracy. That will only remain the case whilst there are passionate people like yourself fighting to keep its principles. Stonewall has abandoned progressive resolution for dubious, narrow ideology. Debate for diktat, and has fuelled its war machine against rights and understanding in the LGB community using a litany of misplaced good intentions. I REFUSE to 'get over!' the attempted recedance of women's liberty, nor will I stand by as same-sex attracted youngsters are targeted and groomed. Thank you. You have my support.

I agree with those wanting to open debate on important areas of difference without being accused of hatred of any other group.

There is a desperate need for trans issues to be heard, and there is a desperate need for LGB and natal female issues to be heard. The current stance adopted by Stonewall is preventing constructive conversation and negatively impacting trans relationships with the rest of the world. It is time to reconsider your stance.

It's sad to see Stonewall pushing an anti-gay agenda, with lesbians, as usual, the ones who are most ignored and marginalised.

Stonewall needs to urgently address their rejection of exclusive same sex attraction as inherently objectionable, in addition to all the issues already raised in the petition. They are actively promoting homophobia and it needs to stop.

Women have opinions and we need to hear all perspectives. Open debate - to keep the democracy alive! Stop shaming and demonizing women who have opinions.

Safe spaces for women need protection

Am hiding my name because am afraid of receiving same threats other women get from trans activists which is just appalling. I'm signing this with a heavy heart, because Stonewall have historically done good important work. They have lost their way and I wonder where lesbians and gay men who feel excluded by the trans focus go for support. Lesbians demonstrating against Pride?? Doesn't Stonewall care how much it has alienated these women? Doesn't it care about the threats of rape, 'suck my lady dick', 'kill a terf' comments?
