I can't believe in 2018 how scared I feel as a women about the erasure of women and their rights, about speaking out and merely questioning around transgender politics and about how this impacts on the potential safeguarding of children. This feels like such a complicated issue and having a dogmatic response mean that these complexities get lost.

A complex issue that requires a LGBTQ+ campaign and support organisation like Stonewall to reflect the wide range of views held by this community and encourage meaningful debate. I currently support Stonewall financially but am considering ending my support as I feel there is no longer the ‘L’ in the debate or engagement over issues such as women born women spaces and the erosion of lesbian spaces and silencing of dyke voices.

By refusing to even consider that there is a debate to be had on the GRA amendment, Stonewall has demonstrated its contempt for women.

I have no problem with fully transitioned people, but women must be protected from men masquerading as women for ulterior motives. Stonewall denying it's their business while supporting such people is wrong.

Women are entitled to respectful debate about their legitimate concerns not the ridiculous rhetoric that stonewall engage in.

Transgender rights should not come at the expense and safety of women.

Stonewall has been stonewalling. If online communities, social media and the media have featured only one side of the debate, as Stonewall perceives it, then Stonewall is responsible for the vacuum. No wonder trans activists have been so inept at putting their case. They have been so extreme, irrational and emotional because the Supreme Defender of the Faith was in hiding. Your silence is deafening. Time to take stock and review your approach to equality and fairness.

There doesn't even seem to have been any attempt to understand women's concerns. At the very least *listen* to those who don't agree with these proposals.

When did having a conversation become ‘violence’?

This is one of the only times in my lifetime that I do not agree with Stonewall. I am not transphobic. I am a woman and a lesbian who wants to be able to discuss and have a say in my rights and future. thank you

Stonewall has lost its way, what was once progressive is now regressive.

Let's have a debate on facts not fiction.

I feel very strongly about this and am extremely disappointed that Stonewall (an organisation I have usually supported) are backing those transgender individuals who are trying to erase women's rights in favour of this particular group of men, instead of supporting open dialogue between all parties involved.

A message for Stonewall: Some people are lesbians. Get over it.
