I am concerned that Stonewall has become a hotbed for homophobia, and frankly, a joke.

Because you can't prioritise one section of the community and shut down debate with the rest. Come on Stonewall get back to fair play and justice for all. Or declare yourself as a special interest group.

Protect women's sex-based rights. Protect the rights of lesbians.

I support all trans people in their right to be who they need to be. I also support my right as a woman born lesbian to mix with other women born women in our own space.

I am too afraid to sign this with my name - I am a healthcare professional working with trans people and women. What I see is the creation of life long patients in pursuit of a lie - that surgery will make them women. I wish that we could help transwomen to be proud of being trans, and not collude in the delusion that they are actual women. If I say the truth, I lose my job.

Don’t let trans rights eclipse women’s rights, children’s rights or gay rights.

Dear Stonewall, please tell us why you think lesbians are bigots for not wanting sex with a penis?

This policy is obviously not right and needs to be reconsidered.

I’m saddened to see an organisation started to protect individual rights marginalising the rights of women and the right for women to have access to safe spaces.

Lesbians are being abused, physically attacked and doxxed by heterosexual men. When lesbians want to meet to discuss their rights, misogynists and lesbophobes try to stop them. You are a gay rights organisation. You should be up in arms about this! Why aren't you speaking up against the abuse and oppression of lesbians?

The issue is not about trans people, it is about women's safety and the appalling lack of consideration about endemic male violence with the GRA questions. Two women a week are murdered by men they know. If two men or children or trans people were being killed by fish fingers we'd do something about fish fingers - women are, apparently, disposable. Plus, the whole "cotton ceiling" thing - I don't think I've ever heard anything as misogynistic as that - and, I'm quite well informed about misogyny, on account of being a woman. Disgusting disregard for lesbian women - absolutely disgusting from Stonewall to IGNORE gay women. Third time - it's disgusting. Gay women don't like to have sex with penises, I'd really have expected Stonewall to understand that even if AGP cross dressers can't.

Time to focus on the rights and needs of women and children. Stop pushing this ridiculous Orwellian agenda. A man cannot become a woman. A trans woman is a man. Biological fact - however uncomfortable to those with mental health conditions and fetishes. Trans truth is not truth. Stonewall is a bigoted organisation that does nothing to help those it was set up for. Enough is enough. Pull in your trans horns and listen to the VAST majority of your members and society at large. We do not want women's and children's rights rescinded. Lesbians will be erased by the Trans agenda. Children will be medicated and lied to. Trans is a lie!!!! I will not lie to my children and I do not support this evil, regressive movement dressed up in fluffy pink nonsense.

Gr8 that BBC R.4 6 o'clock News opened up this ''transgender can of worms'. Stonewal is seemingly ignoring the BBC comments to assure The Public but I reckon there will be some clear cracks within the walls of Stonewall now that 'The Word's is very out.
