"Gender fluidity" is harmful to women and children in patriarchal societies because it gives even more power to male-bodied people to control women's bodies by taking from them the tools to fight against sexism. I am a woman who has been sexually assaulted several times in public spaces in broad daylight. I do not want to share private spaces like changing rooms with biological men who has self assigned themselves as women. There is no protection for women in this.

This issue has complex consequences and needs more discussion before decisions are made that will affect all women and children.please don't just jump into these proposed changes from an angry defensive position.

In a democracy and in a free society debate must never be shut down. There are clear and obvious issues that need to be addressed in this emerging field of social study and policy. Stonewall cannot legitimately label anyone who disagrees as an anti trans bigot, not least because there are numerous actual trans people who disagree with their analysis and approach.

Please reconsider, please listen to women.

Trans rights should not supersede women's rights

While I will say, yes, transsexual women are women - my right should not come at the expense of other women. Not only do the rights of transsexual women require BALANCE with the rights of natal women - which we are not seeing today - natal women absolutely deserve to speak freely about how my rights as a transsexual women will impact them, without the fear of being silenced.
