Stop the proposed changes to the Gender Recognition Act. Self-identification is a performance, it's not objectively real and needn't be endorsed or recognised by law.

Please reconsider for the sake of the rights of everyone and the future generations

I am trans-friendly, NOT transphobic! But the proposal for self ID will erode womens rights - rights that were hard won over centuries. Women are 50% of the population, please respect us and our rights to safety. If any biological male is allowed to self ID as female, without even dressing or living as a woman, let alone having gender realignment surgery or taking hormones, this is clearly open to abuse by the small but significant number of sex offenders out there. The consequences of this change could literally mean life or death for biological women, please think about OUR rights! Thank you.

Stonewall's fantastic reputation will be compromised if it continues to support Self ID, a policy that attacks the very identity and human rights of women to be safe in public spaces. Please re-think this.

I can’t believe where we are at... we’ve regressed!!

I don't have an answer but I am concerned about the validity given to those identifying with being female. I would like to discuss all of the issues.

You can’t promote the rights of one group as the cost of another protected group. It’s not transphobic to say so. Nor is it transphobic to say that trans women are men.

Trans ideology centres men. Stonewall are putting men at the centre of their policies. Think of all those institutions and establishments they’re advising, advising them to centre men’s rights above women’s.

sex-based rights are vital and were created for an important reason. female people are oppressed under patriarchy

I think the issues concerned with this topic need to be revised and action to be taken appropriatly for the best of everyone's interest and wellbeing.

As an ex-transgender I don’t agree in the whole concept.. we are what our biology is and always will be.

Stonewall, you do not speak for me. How can an undemocratic and unelected body speak for lesbians? Please hear what we are saying. You have lost your way and your political credibility by failing to think through the implications of supporting transgender rights over women's rights.

If a man doesn't feel the need for surgery or other treatment then it is ludicrous to accept him as a woman. Stop attempting to erase women's biology and status and please, stop Self-ID. Sex is a protected characteristic under the equalities act. Women and girls should not be forced to share intimate spaces with male bodied people

The threats and bullying have been disproportionately aimed at women, and especially at lesbians. Please make it clear that Stonewall does not support or condone misogyny.
