I acknowledge specifically the conflict that exists between transgenderism and sex-based women’s rights. I also acknowledge that there are a range of valid viewpoints around sex, gender and transgender politics. I have respected Stonewall's advocacy in the past and I would like to continue to do so but find that I cannot until Stonewall acknowledges the above made points

Biological sex is reality. Please consider the concerns of natal women and how these are in conflict with transactivism.

Women's rights are being heavily undermined by trans activists and are extremely harmful to social cohesion between women and the LGBT community. This has got to stop, including trying to force anyone who isn't trans to use the term 'cis', or to force women (or men) to share private spaces on the basis that a person 'feels' different, with or without psychiatric evidence in support, or any intention to change their physical sex. These changes are being forced upon people on all sides by a minority group, and engenders inflammatory debate, and further derision between communities. It has to stop, and Stonewall should NOT be supporting this.

I am a woman who advocates for women's freedom from fear of violence & right to equity under the law. Please define woman if it is not a female adult human being, which is what I am. I sign is support of my lesbian sisters.

Bullying women - and other dissenters - into silence is not the way to resolve the conflict between women's sex-based rights and transgenderism.

Sexual orientation and trans issues do not directly align. Stonewall is massively veering from its grass roots and original premise.

Please dont disregard the valid concerns of NATAL women. Biological sex is a reality. Gender is merely a social construct. You are silencing and erasing women.

The emotive language surrounding this campaign, framing the demands for gender self-declaration without safeguards or control as a fight for ‘equal rights’, is manipulative and dishonest. You misrepresent the community by playing on public sympathies to transsexual people whilst extending the meaning of ‘trans’ to encompass such a wide group, with no material criteria necessary, as to make the label meaningless. You push a paradigm that amounts to a gender ideology - if something cannot be measured or challenged, nobody is obliged to believe you. It is not reasonable to demand that people subscribe to your beliefs and absolutely absurd to demand a change to the law on the basis of those beliefs. This is not the new civil rights movement. This is not a fight for equality. This is a demand for privileges, not rights - a demand to redefine language, redefine understanding, and redefine the identity not only of yourselves but everyone else - flimsily hidden under the guise of protection of a minority group. Your demand to control the language and your assertion that disagreement constitutes bigotry is a demand that we treat your movement as immune to debate. The total rejection of any and all dissent as transphobia is ludicrous. We see through you and you should be ashamed.

Please include lesbian rights

There is a real danger that trans activists are behaving like fascist bully boys.

Stonewall you appear to have forgotten about the L (the ones who are adult human females).

I am horrified at Ruth's outright lie that "transwomen are women" is enshrined in law. She nor Stonewall represent me any more

We need a debate where everyone is respected and the wealth of opinions are considered equally. The rights of women and girls should not be belittled, dismissed or disregarded. Branding anyone who disagrees with Stonewall’s current policy as transphobic does nothing to further that debate and stands in the way of furthering the gender debate.

Shame on Stonewall. How the mighty - and once righteous - have fallen. The comments to signatures ration on this petition is extraordinary. So many people compelled to write. Please listen.

I'm really concerned that men's transgender rights are overuling women's rights. I will never accept that a man can be a woman. Impossible.
