I still don’t know where I stand on this issue. I think some on both sides are wrong, but the doxxing and threatening behaviour by trans activists hurts their own cause. I’m signing this anonymously because even attempting to discuss this issue leads to accusations of transphobia, truth be damned.

We must have safe spaces that are women only. Self-ID makes a mockery of womens and girl's rights, straight or gay. I am prominent in the Arts which is incredibly left-wing & often brokes no discussion about this issue - hence the Anon signature.

Trans right should not come at the cost of womens sex based rights and the erasure of lesbians, that's not equality.

As an educator I feel that my job would be at risk if I signed with my name. Women must be able to discuss the issue without intimidation. Stonewall is shutting women down.

The shutting down of the conversation has to stop. Stonewall has turned into a trans lobby group now and I’d ignoring the other people it is supposes to support. I feel let down by them.

I support women's rights. Straight and les will be at risk from male violence if self-id is allowed.

Women's rights and gay boundaries should not be eroded in the name of trans rights. Please consider the realities existing and experienced by women and gay people and the negative effects that would come from undermining them.

I am deeply concerned that it has become impossible to have a reasonable and open discussion about some of the unintended impacts on women (straight and lesbian) if proposed changes to the GRA. We cannot allow a rolling back of hard-won rights for any group, at the expense of another. Please slow down and actually listen.

I am not a transphobe and I am not a TERF. I am a biological woman who’s deeply offended, hurt and scared of the concept of self-ID. Stonewall, I’m begging you to turn this around. You’re allowing activists to bully and silence women, aren’t you for equal rights? Do women not count anymore? Do you forget that the L is compounded by WOMEN? Turn this narrative around Stonewall, it’s turning toxic. You’re allowing activists to hound us and threaten us! There has got to be a middle ground for us ALL to be included. When this hits mainstream media and the general public, it’s going to be full on war. My heart breaks, I don’t want to raise a little girl in this world. Please listen to us.

Mysoginy from the trans movement has to stop. Women took centuries to gain safe spaces and we can't let that disappear because of the wishes of a few men

Your stance punishes women for stating the reality that men are male and women are female. If you consider this dehumanization, then it must apply the same standard to referring to women as “cisgender,” which is a lie, and to calling anyone a TERF (“Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist”), which is a slur. You must rethink and support lesbuans who are under attack and need this support instead of erasure of our rights as women (AHF) who love women (AHF)

It should be possible to balance the need for single sex provisions (of which there is a clear need) and the wishes of who choose live within the concept of gender.

I have strong reservations in the current proposals. It appears that the enthusiasm to ensure that the rights of those individuals who are undertaking gender reasignment/ self ID undermine the basic rights that women who are genetically female currently have to privacy and dignity in order for them to manage their biological functions. It also appears that the safety of those females, women and girls, will be undermined by some individuals (natal males with seriously misogynistic traits who cross dress/ self ID in order to access vulnerable women) who are choosing to abuse the current permissive attitudes towards genuine transgender people, in order to satisfy their own perverted and dangerous needs. It appears that the genuine needs and fears of natal women and girls are being sidelined in favour of those non-natal women.

Trans rights cannot come at the expense of women’s rights. Lies and intimidation cannot be allowed to win. I support my lesbian sisters.

I have been stunned by your approach to transgender policies because I expected more from an organisation established to fight for the rights of gay, lesbian and bisexual people. Simply shutting down debate and labelling any opposition as transphobic is unhelpful in understanding the impact of proposed legislation on the LGBT community
