Stonewall's actions clearly show that the organisation has little regard for the gays and lesbians Stonewall is supposed to represent, and has absolutely no regard for women as a 'protected' class in Equality law

Stonewall, you have so much respect still in so many places. Through that respect comes your influence. Please don’t abuse it by endorsing the bullying and erasure of lesbians who still look to you in hope of protection. Signed anon because the trans activists have created a terrible climate of fear where speaking out results in visits from the police.

We are being railroaded into a construct of 'self identification' that denies, disrespects and abuses the experiences of many people, particularly women and lesbian women but also trans people. Who benefits? Really. Who? The answer to that question needs debate.

As a lesbian it has become apparent that you no longer care about me or my lesbian sisters. Our concerns are valid. We need to be able to talk openly and respectfully, especially when our hard-won rights are at stake.

I have transwomen in my life who I love very much but I am worries about the silencing of biological women and issues unique to us. Transactivism seems less about helping trans people and more about silencing women now.

How can it be right, inclusive or kind to ignore and deny that women, morally and legally, have sex-based, biology-based rights? That ideology is dangerous, false and cruel. Gender roles and stereotypes are the prison you would keep us in. That Stonewall is failing lesbian women in particular is one of the biggest treacheries of all time.

I respect transsexuals as transexuals, and am on the public record as standing in their defence. But while gender is partly a social construction that may be self-determined, and will have varied expressions, I do not accept XX/XY biological sex as being a social construction.

Stonewall, as the UK's most prominent "LGBT" org, have denied representation to lesbians and female bisexuals since they tacked on that T not too many years ago. The organisation should get rid of Ruth Hunt who has led this misogynistic process and brought the entire org into disrepute. Ruth Hunt lied only this past week on national radio, claiming that transwomen are women by law, when they are not in fact women by law or reality. She lied that Stonewall are not influential on this topic and she lied that they don't have a responsibility to enable debate and discussion on this topic. It is time that Stonewall replaced Hunt and took a good look at their Trans Advisory board which contains, to say the least, some incredibly dodgy characters. It is also time that the government and other organisations looked very carefully at who they are taking advice from - Stonewall, Mermaids, GIRES, TELI, etc - these orgs are misleading them and the public about what a woman is in the law and reality, while forcing dissenting women into silence.

I find it extremely disturbing that normal debate is being stifled by an organisation that claims to have ‘welfare’ at its heart. The attacks on women and lesbians in particular that some trans activists are undertaking is sickening. But it has made many women fearful to speak out, worried about personal attack’s and being accused of being hateful just because they have legitimate questions to ask. The GRA consultation is so non user friendly too, I know many that have ‘given up’ trying to work their way through it. Simple, easy debate needs to be fostered, not smothered and quashed. Stonewall does not speak for everyone and should not be listened to as such.

I ask Stonewall to represent lesbians - that means same-sex attracted female people. Being a lesbian is currently becoming synonymous with being transphobic. Maybe we are heterophobic too, then, if we exclude straight men from our desires?? This would sound preposterous. Centuries of feminist work is being undone here in claiming gender is a feeling. Gender is a social construct, a hierarchy. It is the cultural ‘reading’ and interpretation of sex, which is biological. Sadly, we do not get to choose the ways in which we get socially constructed. If we could, all women would ‘identify’ their way out of sex-based oppression. Job done. Please, Stonewall, take advice or do some further reading of feminist theory. I am a lesbian and I am disappointed in Stonewall not only for not supporting me but quite literally silencing my opinions and experiences on gender and sexuality. Please listen to us and not stifle the conversation.

It is terrifying how Stonewall is leading, financing and encouraging the abuse of women. They are forcing us to accept an ideology - without debate - by stealth, and without consultation. They are erasing the rights of women to identify, to gather and to sex-based protections because they wish us all to uncritically adopt an ideology that runs counter to basic biology and makes women less safe. And as women, we are expected to sit down, say nothing and uncritically accept it. And when we don't, the level of abuse, cries of transphobia and personal attacks that dissenters receive is terrifying. When, ever, in history had the phrase 'no debate' been acceptable as a way to force society to fall in line with a particular ideology? This is facism, dressed up as progress. And when you say so, you risk your job, children and safety because the approach Stonewall advocates has given rise to an incredibly right-wing wave of transgender activism that believes only in threats and force. It is not helping transsexuals and it is forcing ordinary women like me to push back. Shame on Stonewall and shame on the politicians enabling them, and throwing women under the bus as a result.

There have always been transvestites, transsexuals and people born intersex. Never before have biological women and girls been targeted with such hatred, such abusive language and aggression coming from the so-called ‘Trans’ political lobby supported by Stonewall.
Biological women & girls are half the population and there must be no push-back on our equal rights and safety. Sex, race, disability is a given at birth.
In this country we fought for The Sex Discrimination Act in 1975. A year later The Race Discrimination Act 1976 was enacted. We fought for Domestic Violence to be made a crime.
Once more women are facing demonisation. The use of disparaging terms such as ‘TERF’ ‘’Cis’ etc, freely used to smear and undermine women, as worthless, to degrade, to demoralise, to question our fundamental biological and equal rights, in order to diminish and dominate must be resisted.
Lesbian women, in particular are feeling very threatened. They made their views known at Pride this year but allegedly weren’t supported by Stonewall They are allegedly receiving threats of a sexual nature from Trans activists. Why is no one talking about ‘sexual orientation’ and Trans activists?
When it comes to children, parents are responsible. Not political lobby groups!
