Relationships are exclusive! To accuse lesbians of being exclusive is simply ridiculous. The trans policy is damaging women, full stop! None of this is happening to men, straight, gay or bisexual.

The marginalisation of feminist lesbian women in this debate is completely unacceptable considering we have been fighting for transgender rights for decades. We are now not accepted in gay pubs, I saw a sign in the Marlborough in Brighton this weekend 'TERFS not welcome here.'They may as well have put 'no dogs, no Irish, no Blacks, no TERFS'. Scapegoating feminist lesbians is not the answer to transgender rights.

Wanting debate about safety for women and children is being defined as hate speech. Please facilitate debate not hate. I am posting anonymously because I have seen first hand attacks on those who raise concerns about self ID.

It’s Orwellian double speak to call the dictionary definition of a woman “hate speech”.

It's important that time is given to considering and reconsidering an issue which is far from settled.

You are supposed to represent all of us.

Totally support trans people, this is totally possible while also supporting safety for women and girls. Debate is not hate.

Please come to your senses and acknowledge the position of women. People cannot change sex. Safe spaces for women, no harassment of lesbians by transgenders should be on the top of your priority list!

Please don't attempt to take women's rights to sex based protections away. We all know that humans can't change sex. Every one of you was born from a woman. That word means something so stop diluting it and attempting to silence us

Please: Commit to fostering an atmosphere of respectful debate, rather than demonising as transphobic those who wish to discuss or dissent from Stonewall’s current policies

It feels like what could be seen as male aggression and feelings of entitlement are swamping women's hard-fought-for rights.

Hey Stonewall, it's totally possible to both support trans people and maintain safe spaces for cis women. Why aren't you listening?
