There needs to be some balance in this discussion and not submission to emotive lobbying.

Stonewall have become bullies fixated on the T to the detriment of the LGB and in particular the L.

I am concerned that safe spaces for women and girls may be threatened or undermined by possible changes to the legislation.

Stonewall is failing the lesbian and gay communities by focusing on trans rights and by promoting them, implicitly undermining the fact that a) most people aren’t born in the wrong body, they are gay or lesbian not trans and b) they are encouraging young people to believe that they are trans rather than allowing them the space as individuals to decide how they want to live their lives. Stonewall is leveraging publicity around trans rights to increase its funding and is actually sacrificing the rights of ordinary trans people to be accepted and respected in order to keep in with trans activists. It’s very dangerous, the opposite of inclusive and is damaging to Stonewall’s reputation. Listen to your founders and remember what Stonewall is meant to be about. How can you support activists who call lesbians trans phones because they don’t want intimate relations with someone who has a penis? Wake up, not woke up

I cannot support stonewall whilst it’s behaving this way towards women. Especially gas lighting lesbians. It’s a disgrace, and as an organisation, they should be throughly ashamed of themselves.

I am concerned for the future of single sex safe spaces for females.

Stonewall you have turned your back on Homosexuals and you refuse to discuss something which needs public discussion. Please listen to those reaching out to you here.

I am concerned that women's sex based rights and protections are being undermined

Don't get it twisted. Lesbians love woman born as women. It's a relationship deeper than sex. And NEVER put a P at the end of LGBTQ. !!

Discussion needs to happen, shutting this down is creating an alienated bubble where those inside have no clue of public opinion. Talk stonewall, it's all people are asking for.

Please listen, thousands of people, not a small hate group, are asking for discussion. Look at who has signed, women, men, transexuals, gays, lesbians, every kind of person.... Something isn't right here, you are being advised by the wrong people.

As a woman I feel my privacy will be compromised and I feel because I am not allowed to to state my worries . I have no problem with transgender , it their choice ,I would like my choice of privacy ,in public toilets and changing rooms

You can't put toothpaste back in the tube. We need to discuss the implications of doing away with safe spaces for women and girls before it's a done deal.

I am a woman and I want to engage in debate that acknowledges lived differences between our identities; and I want these to be taken very seriously and with respect.

Common sense must prevail

We need time, talk, debate, education - no more bullying

I do recognise the sincerity and need of many of the people who have transitioned or wish to under the current law and I intend to be compliant with that law. I cannot support the proposed changes to the GRA which are likely to have the effect of damaging all women and girls and object to the concept of gender, in the same way, and I object to the concept of race. Sexism and racism are real and they do not go away by reinforcing them.

Women's sex-based rights have been hard won, and must be protected.
