Stonewall please stop and think about what you are doing to women

Having been a victim of this silent crime I strongly urge victims to come forward, you are not alone

It’s really sad that Stonewall has let so many people down. I agree with everything stated in the petition. I hope Stonewall can return to its original values and protect all the people it claims to represent, not just the trans activists who are pushing through an inadequately reasoned and undemocratic, bullying agenda.

Please reconsider

I have worked in the domestic violence sector for a number of years, and have listened to the stories of hundreds of female survivors. I can sadly report that there is no loophole or opportunity to control and abuse vulnerable women that male perpetrators of violence against women will not exploit - including claiming that they themselves are women. This is simply a fact. Women need protection from this. Yet we aren't allowed to say it. The silencing feels familiar. Take another look at the Duluth Power and Control Wheel - there you'll find a summary of the tactics employed by abusive men to control women. Recognise any of them from contemporary trans-activism?

As a woman I am frightened of tra’s. I am disabled, weak and vulnerable and having my voice silenced. The longer I live the more I see history repeat itself. Oppressors enjoy oppressing.

Please try and understand why lesbians are being damaged and erased by this ideology. Trans people deserve their own spaces, medical access, rights. Why force them into womens and not campaign for more rights for trans people only? Separate to lgb and women's rights?

Sort yourself out, Stonewall.

Trans rights are important but cannot be at the expense of hard won rights for women. Gender and Biological sex are both important issues but cannot, and should not be conflated.

Stonewall is so high profile. Take your chance to help women's rights, as they are so under threat. The tactics of the "trans activists" are so wrong, they must see it's harming genuine trans women as well as ordinary women.

We need good faith dialogue on this important issue, not ideological bullying.

Lesbians being bullied & intimidated into accepting pre-op trans as sexual partners is darkly predatory & misogynistic - where is the respect. Some trans are vitriolic in their apparant disregard and yet want to be respectfully treated as women. It seems illogical and mentally unstable, or purposely intimidatory.

Affirming denies opportunity for young people to explore identity and misses mental health conditions resulting in wrong treatment

Transgender activism is in direct opposition of gay liberation. Stop telling lesbians and gay men (mostly lesbians — because transgender activism also has misogyny problem) that same sex attraction is “bigoted” and that, instead, gay people should also be attracted to members of the *opposite sex* who identify differently. Biological sex is a fixed reality and homosexuality is based on biological sex. Stop supporting blatant homophobia. What kind of message are you sending when you tell kids they’re actually the opposite sex because they’re gender non-conforming? We’re headed nowhere good if we continue to support these regressive ideas.

all people should have equal respect, and have equal expectectaions for safety and dignaty.

More exploration and public consultation is definitely needed to stave the growing underside of unrest that appears to be building on all sides of this debate.

Womanhood and the female sex is being eradicated with this trans agenda. Science and biology is being denied, healthcare is being abused to feed delusions, clinical trials are being put into jeopardy with the cover ups proposed. You are disregarding womens personal space, concerns, needs, privacy and dignity not to mention condoning the bullying and homophobic attitudes towards lesbians. Biological sex exists and exists for a reason. As a woman, a mother, an aunt, a feminist and someone in the biological field, I cannot in good conscience sit back and allow this to continue.

There are many points of view and concerns that need to be taken into account without blanket dismissal.
